HWAM 2620C WALL MOUNTED STOVE
The Defra Approved Hwam 2620C wall mounted wood burner is a competitively priced convector stove that has passed the tough German DIBt 100% room seal test. This, and its direct external air supply capability, makes the Hwam 2620C one of the few wall-mounted stoves that is perfectly suited for installation within an air-tight home with insulation specifications that are moving towards passive house or AECB Carbonlite standards. It would be particular good for those homes with mechanical ventilation heat recovery (MVHR) systems or kitchen diners with some form of extractor fan.
The Hwam 2620C Wall Mounted wood burner also has a very practical tested heat output range starting at around 2.0kW and going up to a maximum of 6.0kW (depending on fuel load). This is precisely controlled with the discreet slider control which works in combination with the Hwam AutoPilot which is a very useful standard feature that makes getting the best out of your stove incredibly easy. The AutoPilot is Hwam's bio-metal mechanical device which automatically boosts primary air when lighting the fire, during reloading and at the end of the burn cycle for quicker starts as well as more efficient and cleaner burning combustion. Hwam have been using the AutoPilot for decades and at The Stove Yard we can attest to just how trouble free and easy it is to use to get great performance from both the stove and fuel.
Hwam also give you the option to upgrade the 2620C Wall Mounted with their patented SmartControl (only available at the build stage) where the room temperature can be set and gentle reminders to refuel the stove are sounded for you. You'll also never need to worry about how to achieve the optimum and most eco-friendly performance — the SmartControl electronics simply takes care of this.
Impressive build quality and premium materials are in evidence everywhere in the Danish made Hwam 2620C, from the heavy steel bodywork and robust cast iron door to the precision engineered compressed vermiculite fire bricks inside the fire chamber. The perfectly balanced door features Hwam's unique closing mechanism which ensures a safe airtight seal with the minimum of effort. A lower, smaller pressed steel door, which you simply push to open, conceals the ash pan chamber and ash pan which will make it easier to remove ash when you need to. The Hwam 2620C Wall Mounted couldn't be any simpler to install since it has both top or rear flue options and the direct external air can be neatly supplied from the rear.
