Over the last few years the Vogue Midi has been one of Stovax's most popular contemporary wood burning stoves so it was understandable that they should eventually add a gas engine version to their Gazco gas brand – now this too has become a best-seller and with good reason.
The Gazco Vogue gas stove comes in two versions. The basic Midi, without side glass and the Midi T, which has a significantly taller firebox and stylish side windows, and which can also be wall-mounted (see separate listings). For authenticity all models feature the original wood burner's cast iron doors with their big picture windows and the distinctive minimalist gently curving top plate. As you'd expect with the UK's number one gas fire brand the log fire bed and flame pattern are both incredibly realistic. To enhance the falmes the firebox is lined with reflective Echo-Flame black glass. The Vogue Midi, also comes in a taller version (the Midi Midline) which features a matching cast iron log store for an even more convincing 'log burner' look.
Choose either Natural Gas or LPG, as well as conventional flue or balanced flue. If you're installing the Vogue into an existing chimney using the Midi's conventional flue option, and the chimney conforms to current Building Regulations, it's worth remembering that Gazco offer a money-saving optional linerless flue kit which means that you don't need the chimney to be fully lined. This will save you all of the associated costs on conventional lining itself, as well as the labour required to install it.
The high efficiency (up to 90.6% for the balanced flue models) and the controllable heat output range from just 1.6kW up to a generous 4.3kW ensures that the Vogue Midi makes both an economic and practical heating solution for even the larger living room. It can also be upgraded with a programmable thermostatic remote handset which will allow you to pre-set on and off for your selected times as well as your ideal room temperature.
