STOVAX RIVA2 55 WOOD BURNING INSET STOVE

The Stovax Riva2 55 is the tallest of the three new 5.0kW Riva2 convector inset log burners from Stovax with an overall height of 754mm (30.2"), including the 54mm Profil frame option. It has the same width as the wide bodied Riva2 50 model which means it has the scale to provide a very impressive flame picture which will create an imposing focal point in any living space, especially if used at height in a hole-in-the-wall installation. The good news is that despite its huge presence the Stovax Riva2 55 has a very practical and user friendly convected and radiant heat output combined with the precision control that's going to make it very easy to live with in a typical-sized living space as well as be economic to operate. With the Stovax Riva2 55 you no longer need to specify a high output stove just to create a strong visual presence.

The Stovax Riva2 55 has pretty impressive environmental credentials too with some of the lowest emissions figures we've seen for any stove and well below the tight requirements of the 2022 Ecodesign regulations. For example it reduces particulate matter (PM2.5) by almost half of that permitted under Ecodesign making the Stovax Riva2 55 exceptionally clean burning. Like the rest of the Riva2 inset stove range, it has also been approved by Defra for burning seasoned wood logs in a Smoke Control Area (most UK urban areas). The state-of-the-art combustion chamber features pre-heated tertiary air jets which burn hydrocarbons in the combustion gases, further adding to the Stovax Riva2 55's cleaner burning performance. It will also easily handle logs of up to 350mm (14") long and the big glass area is kept clear with Stovax's Dualflow convergent air wash system which not only washes pre-heated air from the top of the glass as usual, but also from the bottom, to create a highly effective wash.

There are 3-sided and 4-sided frame options available in two widths for the Stovax Riva2 55; the minimalist 30mm Profil XS and and the beefy 54mm wide Profil. As the UK's biggest stove maker the Stovax construction standards are very high and the Stovax Riva2 55 features a premium quality steel exterior and full width and depth cast iron grate and log guard. There's a discreet removable door handle (also cast iron) and primary and secondary air controls. The primary ReIgnite boost control is concealed behind the ash pan door as it essentially only used for quick fire starts and to reignite the fire after reloading. The Stovax Riva2 55 features integrated direct external air supply (DEAS) capability as standard which can be supplied from either the base or the rear of the stove.
