The Dovre Rock 500 Wood Burning Stove is a big bold contemporary styled wide bodied wood burning stove with a nominal 9.0kW heat output to match the huge visual statement it will make in the largest of rooms. Its minimalist gently rounded industrial chic looks and precision moulded all-cast iron construction conceal an advanced low emissions combustion system with powerful full width airwash to keep its widescreen window clear. With an A+ rated 80% efficiency the Rock 500 is also going to be very economic to run.
The Rock 500's push close door with its concealed hinges covers the whole of the fire chamber front to maximise the width of the window and emphasise the stoves overall clean lines. The designers heave even placed its polished steel pebble-shaped handle at the side. This can be simply and safely removed when not being used to ensure that it always stays cool to touch for when you next need to use it. The Rock 500 will easily handle logs up to 500mm (24") long.
A discrete single user-friendly slider control delivers precise combustion air management for the Dovre Rock 500's generous 3.0kW to 11.0kW heat output range and to control its wonderful landscape flame patterns. Direct external air supply capability is standard and this will allow you to avoid having to install a large building regulations compliant dedicated air vent and the associated cold draughts you get with these. The standard Dovre Rock 500 comes with a tablet stand with closed sides and open front or you can choose the optional integral log box version with its striking matching curved features. Both are the same 745mm height. Also check out the 150mm (6") narrower Dovre Rock 350.
