HWAM 2610M ON PEDESTAL
The Defra approved Hwam 2610M contemporary wood burning stove on a pedestal, with its sleek curved all-over glass fronted door and nicely proportioned sturdy stand delivers a great view of its wonderful flame patterns through its larger than average window and side glass from wherever you are in the room. Its nominal 4.5kW heat output and generous 2.0kW to 6.0kW heat range (depending on fuel load) means that the Hwam 2610M will provide plentiful heat and more for most small to medium sized living spaces. It will also operate at low outputs perfectly sufficient for cool late spring and early autumn evenings. With an energy rating of A+ and a high efficiency of 80.03% the Hwam 2610M Pedestal will also be very economical to run.
Heat output and flame height is precisely controlled with the Hwam 2610M's discreet slider control which works in combination with the Hwam AutoPilot and is a really useful standard feature that makes getting the best out of your stove ever-so easy. This is Hwam's tried and tested mechanical device which automatically boosts primary air when lighting the fire, during reloading and at the end of the burn cycle for more efficient and cleaner burning combustion. There's also a powerful 3-Way air wash system that not only works from the top of the glass but also from the sides to keep the glass clean. Direct external air supply capability from the base or rear will allow you to limit cold draughts, and along with the DIBt tested door seal, this will also make the Hwam 2610M Pedestal a classy focal point for low energy homes and especially those with MVHR systems.
The Hwam 2610M's well balanced door features Hwam's unique closing mechanism which ensures a secure air tight seal with the minimum of effort. In fact if you want to know how well built the Hwam 2610M Pedestal really is just open the door with its stylish stainless steel cool touch handle and then see how easy it is to close it and listen to the sound when it makes contact with the high grade steel bodywork. To our ears it sounds a bit like a door on a German car – effortless. By the way, while you've got the stove door open compare the inside of the fire chamber to virtually any other stove you like. Highly compressed and tightly fitted moulded vermiculite panels with curved chamber corners eliminate any inefficient cold spots and prevent heat leakage to keep the fire chamber as hot as possible for much better burning. A smaller lower pressed steel door, which you simply push to open, conceals the ash pan chamber and ash pan for easier removal of the wood ash when it's needed.
There are five other models in the Danish-made Hwam 2610 range with side windows including low plinth and wall-mounted options with a choice of classic cast iron (C) or modern glass-fronted (M) doors.
