WIKING MIRO 4 WITH LOWER DOOR & STONE CLADDING
Wiking give you a choice of two Defra approved Miro 4s with satin finished soapstone cladding – this is the one with the lower compartment door which neatly conceals the 300mm high log store to add to the Miro 4's overall clean minimalist looks. This allows you to focus on the virtually full width view of the log fire through the big window which is air washed, not only from the top but also from the sides, for even clearer glass. The Wiking Miro 4 has a nominal 4.9kW heat output and 100kg-plus of natural stone cladding to create an additional slow release heat sink. This long lasting heat sink, along with the rigorously DIBt tested room seal and direct external air supply capability makes the Miro 4 a great choice for the low energy home.
Everything about the Miro 4 with stone cladding is designed to perform superbly from its perfectly balanced cast iron door that ensures a safe and secure room seal with the minimum of effort (all thanks to Wiking's patented closure mechanism) to the meticulously engineered and densely moulded vermiculite 6-piece fire chamber lining which improves heat retention and eliminates cold corners to maximise efficiency and minimise emissions. The Miro 4's Flame height and practical 3.0kW to 8.0kW heat output range are precisely managed with one simple user-friendly slider control discreetly positioned just under the fire chamber door.
In addition, a purely mechanical self activating system called the Wiking Automatic, which comes as standard, will further aid the Wiking Miro 4's user friendly operation by automatically boosting primary combustion air during lighting and refuelling, as well as at the end of the burn cycle. This helps keep the fire chamber hotter so that even more particulates are burned off. The Wiking Automatic is a trouble-free device that has been used by the Miro 4's manufacturer in thousands of stoves getting on for three decades now – not just because it makes it easier to get the best from your stove but also because it makes a significant contribution to the stove's outstanding environmental credentials.
To sum up, the Wiking Miro 4 with lower door and natural stone panels is a supremely practical, very stylish and beautifully proportioned wood burner from one of Europe's finest stove makers. Whether you install it free-standing or within a larger fireplace opening the Miro 4 will certainly create a wonderful heart warming focal point in any living space.
