STOVAX COUNTY 8 Wood Burning Stove

The Stovax County 8 Wood burning Stove is the biggest stove in the County range and its generous heat output of 8.3kW will be more than enough to easily cope with the largest room on the bitterest winter's day. The County 8 is also Defra approved so that you can legally burn wood in a smoke control area – most UK urban areas. The County 8's large fire chamber will easily accommodate logs of up to 400mm (16") long to give you an impressive flame picture through its large gracefully arched air washed window. Subtle traditional styling ensures that the County 8 will look perfectly at home in a wide range of period interiors. Gently splayed 145mm high legs complete the picture of this classic, beautifully proportioned, wood stove.  

Inside the Stovax County 8 couldn't be more modern. There's state of the art cleaner burning combustion technology to ensure that the County 8 goes well beyond satisfying the minimum emissions requirements for the tough Ecodesign air quality regulations. Two rows of pre-heated tertiary combustion air jets at the top of the fire chamber wring out every last calorie of heat from your wood whilst burning off even more of any remaining particulates. The rear heat shield helps to keep the safe distance required to combustible materials for such a high output stove relatively low.

Getting the best performance from your fuel, which is so important on a high output stove, couldn't be easier with the County 8. Two responsive slider controls (primary boost and secondary air wash) are used to boost combustion air for quicker starting fires and to finely tune the flames and precisely manage the 4.0kW to 11.0kW heat output range (depending on fuel load). As we've come to expect from Britain's biggest stove maker the build quality is also excellent, as are the high quality components. The Country 8 features a heavy duty, finely detailed, cast iron door with matching robust hinges and handle and these are combined with a premium quality, thick steel body and lid. The Stovax County 8 carries a 5-year manufacturer's warranty when purchased from The Stove Yard (your authorised Stovax dealer) and when the appliance has been subsequently registered with Stovax.
