At some time from this Sunday until Tuesday most of The Stove Yard showroom staff from both Cheshire and County Down will be visiting the stove industry's big trade show, Hearth & Home in Harrogate. It's usually held during one of the hottest periods of the year and it's made even hotter with all the different companies' live stove displays pumping out heat all day long – it's enough to drive you to drink. However that won't stop us all sweating hard to find you the next big thing as well as the very best of the new stoves and fireside products. We already have a few excellent new brands lined up and we'll confirm these over the next few weeks. Meanwhile our showrooms are both open as normal (closed Sundayl) even though some of the team on duty may well be feeling a little bit delicate. Watch this space.
This year marks a major milestone for The Stove Yard: 20 years at the heart of home heating in Northern Ireland. From our humble beginnings back in 2005 to becoming Northern Ireland’s leading stove and fire retailer, it’s been quite the journey—and we think that’s worth celebrating.
To thank our loyal customers and mark the occasion, we’re launching our 20th Anniversary Sale, with up to 40% off selected stoves, fires, and BBQs. The sale runs from April 1st to May 31st, and all offers are available in-store at our Newtownards showroom.
On Saturday, April 5th, from 10 AM – 2 PM, we’re firing up the grills at The Stove Yard for a free BBQ tasting and live demo. Whether you’re thinking about getting a Traeger or just want some incredible food, this is your chance to see, smell, and taste what real wood-fired cooking is all about.
Will wood burning stoves be banned in the UK? Despite media scare stories, modern Ecodesign stoves are cleaner than ever, and sustainably sourced wood remains a carbon-neutral, renewable fuel. While regulations are tightening, wood burning stoves are here to stay.
