HWAM 2610M WALL MOUNTED
The Hwam 2610M Wall Mounted is a sleek contemporary styled wood burner with a nominal heat output of 4.5kW and is Defra approved. It has an A+ rated efficiency of 80.3% and a wide heat output range that starts at a lowly 2.0kW going up to a plentiful 6.0kW which makes the Hwam 2610M Wall Mounted a great choice for small to medium sized living spaces. Being a DIBt tested stove and having direct external air supply (DEAS) capability means that the Hwam 2610M is also ideally suited for low energy and passive type homes. The 2610M Wall Mounted features Hwam's modern all-over curved glass fronted door (hence the M in the model number) to add to its clean lines. With this large area of glass, not forgetting and and the two side windows, you'll always get a great view of the fire from wherever you are in the room. The powerful 3-Way air wash system, which not only washes pre-heated air from the top but also both sides of the glass, will help to keep it that way too.
The Hwam 2610M Wall Mounted has a very practical tested heat output range starting at around 2.0kW and going up to a maximum of 6.0kW. This is precisely controlled with the the discreet slider control which works in combination with the Hwam AutoPilot and is a very useful standard feature that makes getting the best performance out of your stove really easy. This is Hwam's tried and tested mechanical device which automatically boosts primary air when lighting the fire (for quicker starts), during reloading and at the end of the burn cycle for more efficient and cleaner burning combustion. The sturdy door features Hwam's unique closing mechanism to ensure a secure air tight seal every time with the minimum of effort. A smaller lower pressed steel door, which you simply push to open, conceals the ash pan chamber and ash pan for easier removal of the wood ash when it's needed.
To check out just how well built the Danish made Hwam 2610M is then simply open the fire chamber door with its stylish cool touch handle and see how easy Hwam's unique closing mechanism makes it is to close – listen to the reassuring sound when it connects with the high grade steel bodywork. While you're at it also take a look at the inside of 2610M's tall fire chamber and compare it to that of virtually any other stove. There's none of the standard basic sheets of vermiculite. Instead what you get is a series of longer lasting, highly compressed and tightly fitting moulded vermiculite panels which have been individually shaped to eliminate inefficient cold corners and prevent leakage. This all helps the stove to easily maintain the very high temperatures which promote much cleaner burning. The Danish maker have also made installing the Hwam 2610M relatively easy with a choice of top or rear flue and rear DEAS inlet.
