The Wiking 4.9kW Miro 4, with lower compartment door and sleek ceramic side panels and top, is a simply stunning state-of-the-art wood burning stove from the Danish stove maker. The Wiking Miro 4 is beautifully proportioned with a big virtually full-width window which is air washed from the top and sides. Flame height is precisely managed, along with the Miro 4' generous 3.0kW to 8.0kW heat output range, with just one discreet slider control. The user friendly operation is further enhanced by the Wiking Automatic system which comes as standard. This self-acting, purely mechanical device supplies the precise amount of primary booster air when it's needed to ensure quicker starts and minimal emissions during refuelling as well as at the end of the burn cycle. The Miro 4's fire chamber has been specially created to eliminate cold corners and maximise efficiency. It features meticulously engineered, densely compressed and accurately moulded vermiculite panels also improve heat retention and promote cleaner burning.
The Wiking Mini 4 is Defra approved for burning wood in Smoke Control Areas and has also undergone the tough German DIBt tests to ensure that it maintains the 100% room seal that ensures safe operation in passiv-type houses and low energy homes with MVHR systems. The Miro 4 also naturally features direct external air supply (DEAS) capability. Everything about the Miro 4 is designed to perform superbly from its perfectly balanced cast iron door that locks closed with the minimum of effort (thanks to Wiking's patented closure mechanism) to the thick premium steel bodywork, which together with the robust ceramic tile cladding, makes a seriously good slow release heat sink.
