The Esse 755 and the Esse 775 are essentially the same 9.6kW Defra approved stove but with slightly different styling. The 755 has taller, more pronounced, angular steel legs that add an extra 55mm to the height and it's also some 15mm slimmer. The main difference however is on the doors and around the big windows. The 755 features a flat classically styled door with a beaded minimalist window frame while the 775 has a gently curved window frame with bold sculpted round corners set in a subtly convex curved door. Either version is going to make a great choice for a larger than average room whatever the fireplace style.
With the 755's cleaner burning Ecodesign credentials, which feature pre-heated tertiary air to burn off any remaining particulates before they head into the flue, and the British-made premium steel bodywork and high quality cast iron door, you can be sure that this is a stove that has been designed and built to the highest standards so that, like all Esse stoves, it can used and enjoyed for many years to come. A single user-friendly 'long travel' slider control, set just above the door, allows you to precisely manage the generous 6kW to 11kW heat output range to set the perfect comfort level and to control your fuel usage – which is critical to maximise fuel economy on a high output stove. A very effective airwash system keeps the large glass area clear.
Direct external air supply capability (DEAS) is standard which means that the 755 can take its combustion air from the outside and avoiding the need to use any of the warm air in the room it has created. This feature will also help eliminate any cold draughts associated with traditional stoves which must be installed with a dedicated air vent' in order to comply with building regulations. If you have a large living space that's difficult to keep warm then a new cold draught from an air vent' is the last thing that you need, even with the abundant heat delivered from the 755. With the Esse 755 wood burning stove rest assured a warm and cosy room is guaranteed – even with the worst that winter can throw at you.
